Our Remarkable Story
Marianne Lethbridge and Edward Murray took up the development of this vineyard on 12 October, 2007. In three short years they have transformed a small hobby farm into a recognized tourist destination.
There is a myriad of activities available to visitors; starting with award - winning wines of excellence and a manicured six acre working vineyard and including an elegant tasting room incorporating art and sculpture, an attractive al fresco eatery, gift and gourmet gallery, heritage play area, heirloom herb and vegetable gardens, animal patting farm and a sculpture walk.
Planted in 2000, this organic vineyard nestles between the gentle slopes of the fertile and productive valleys of the Isis fruit growing area. The verdant surroundings and pleasant climate give rise to a place of peace and restful beauty where several varieties of red and white grapes are grown along with tranquil gardens and a mixed fruit orchard. The property lies only two minutes from the Bruce Highway along the North Isis Road and is very clearly signposted along a quality bitumen road.
The work is on-going and the owners and their well-trained staff work tirelessly on the property creating a unique wine - growing and tourism destination. Their wines are medal winners and so well regarded that they are now very much sought after.
Something for all Ages
The vineyards and gardens are ideal for all ages, offering shady garden walks, extensive rose gardens, water features, scattered garden seating, picnic areas with access to a gas bar-b-que, toilets and opportunities for children to interact with farm animals. The setting enjoys panoramic rural views and is serene and beautiful. A regular monthly program of music is featured along with literay and artistic events. Art and sculpture exhibitions along with associated workshops are offered. Vintner's Secret is proud to be a partner with Bundaberg Regional Council in hosting Crush events, particularly the annual Artist-in-Residence program.
Group Visits
Group visits are particularly welcomed in the vineyard with each experience tailored to your group thus ensuring a memorable experience. Book early to make sure you acheive a wonderful celebration at very reasonable costs. We generously assist the community in their fund-raising events. NEW - Tours of Historic Charming Childers
We are now able to offer guided tours of the Childers township. Our guide is a charming,third-generation resident, an eminent historian and engaging raconteur. The tours can focus on historic, artistic or agricultural aspects of the town or a combination of all three.
You will love the insights to be gained by travelling with a local person who will take you to places not on the regular tourist track and bring you fascinating insights into this lovely place. He will even take the ladies to some favourite shopping spots. He will join a coach or take walks along the tree - lined streets to explore all there is on offer in this National Trust listed town and winner of the 2010 Heritage Township Award. Ring the vineyard on 4126 1255 to arrange the tour that costs as little as $55.00 and takes just over an hour. This service is available to large groups on coaches or for the individual or family groups.

Whispers Cafe
This beautiful alfresco eatery offers tantalizing refreshments. With prior arrangement picnic baskets can be arranged to be enjoyed in one of the scenic spots within the vineyard or extensive gardens.
All-weather roads and carparking offer easy access to caravans, camper trailers, coaches and buses with a large turning circle to assist in entering and leaving the property.
All areas are wheelchair, walker and pram accessible.
