2009 Sweet Seduction

A light sweet, blended red wine made from a combination of estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon and Marsanne blended with South Burnett Shiraz, displaying a delicate bouquet followed by a rich and sweet mouth feel. Can be chilled lightly in the summer months.

2009 “Barkhouse Lane” Shiraz

This hand-crafted wine has well-balanced aromas redolent of ripe red and black berry fruit. Time spent in both French and American oak barrels is reflected in hints of smoky peppery spices and smooth dark chocolate. It is a wine that will age well for another 5-7 years if carefully cellared because of its finely structured tannins. The harmonious blend of mulberry and spicy plum flavours combines superbly with red meat dishes such as pepper crusted fillet steak.

2010 “Quiet Nod” Cabernet Merlo

This classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot demonstrates the delicate balance achieved when two great grape styles come together. The Merlot brings a well-developed softness to the mid-palate and the Cabernet completes the length and structure of the wine. Together a delicate combination of plummy fruits and mocha oak result in a complex palate of sweet berries and dark cherry characters that makes this wine a perfect accompaniment to slow cooked meats with Mediterranean roast vegetables.

2012“Brothers Five” Shiraz Merlot Cabernet

This blended wine has the aromatic appeal of juicy dark fruits such as plums and raspberries with a suggestion of dark chocolate in the background. The palate features these fruits as well as touches of vanilla and background bursts of mint. With aging this wine will develop additional complexity that will enhance its present full –bodied yet easy drinking style. An ideal food partnerships include slow cooked red meats or pork ribs with barbeque sauce.
